James Franklin
James Franklin holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer for Decisioneering, a privately-held company that provides software, training and consulting services that simplify risk analysis and improve decision-making. Prior to being elected CEO, James held the position of CFO from 1994 - 1998 and VP of Sales from 1998-1999. Jim left Decisioneering in 1999 to become cofounder of Web Family Ventures/ImagePlay, a Wireless technology that created a new channel for expectant families. From 2001 to 2003, Jim raised $20M as the CFO of Vericept Corporation, a leading provider of network security software. Jim holds a JD/MBA and BBA in Accounting from the College of William and Mary.
Pamela Jamruszka Mencher
Chair of the Red Rocks Community College Theatre Arts and Dance Dept.
Pamela received her M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Wisconsin in 1981 and then moved back to Montana where she had grown up. There, she toured the one-woman show, “The Belle of Amherst” to neighboring states and served as an artist in residence and guest artist in the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Washington before moving to Denver in 1983. She taught part-time at Front Range CC and Red Rocks CC as a speech and theatre teacher until receiving a full-time position at RRCC in 1989. There, she founded the Theatre and Dance dept. and since has developed it into one of the most comprehensive Theatre programs at a two-year college in the State of Colorado. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Theatre Association since 1991 as Secretary, Grants and Development Director, Vice President, President and Past President and has taken RRCC students to the RMTA’s annual conference since 1988. In addition, she has directed and acted in many theatres around Denver, written 36 plays and also founded the Playwrights Showcase of the Western Region in partnership with the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. In the last three years her plays, “Writer’s Gothic”, “Modern Gothic” and “Killing Pollyanna” were selected for showcasing at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Valdez, Alaska. At Red Rocks, Pamela teaches Public Speaking, Acting, Theatre Production, Playwriting and Directing.
Cherie Mitchell
Most recently, Cherie has been managing an IT sales consulting company that specializes in helping small technology companies develop strategic channel sales programs. Cherie also sits on the business advisory board of LuciData, LLC; an internal threat management and computer forensics company. In addition to her board participation, Cherie is the Denver Office's operations manager.
In 2002, Cherie founded and is sole proprietor for Tweeky Beaky Bird Toys, a specialty bird toy manufacturer. Prior to investing in her entrepreneurial spirit, Cherie was a channel manager for Vericept and a Business Development Manager for GE Access. Prior to her entrance into technology, she spent 15 years in consumer product sales, marketing and development. Cherie's community involvement includes: Denver Children's Home, Colorado Software and Internet Association and Colorado Women in Technology. Cherie holds a BA from Wells College in Aurora, NY.
