Sam Gilstrap is excited to be making his return to the And Toto too stage and for another great opportunity to work with Susan. Sam feels very fortunate to have performed recently at Miners Alley Night of The Iquana and The Pitmen Painters, The Edge Theatre One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Firehouse Theatre,Coronadoand Cliffhanger, and finally the Germinal Stage Amphitryon 38 and The Misanthrope. Along the way he has had the pleasure of working with some of the most amazing and talented people in theatre, and he hopes to continue that career trend. Thank you again to Susan Lyles and this amazing cast. Thank you to the crew for all of your hard work. Thank you sheila for all of your support and guidence. And of course, thank you Mommy, Without your love I wouldn't know the feeling that being on this stage gives me. It's breath taking.
Ben Griffin is a transplant from Little Rock, AR. After completing his BFA in Acting from Arkansas State University, he decided to head west for better prospects. He has done performances with Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, and Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts. Ben is entirely too excited to be performing in Denver for the first time and an original production to boot!
Erica Lee Johnson
Erica is honored to make her And Toto too debut in this brilliantly provoking piece of work. Recently, you may have seen Erica portray six different characters in Wonder of the World or eleven characters in Mrs. Mannerly, both at Miners Alley Playhouse. Erica has also appeared at Town Hall Arts Center, Curious Theater, Aurora Fox Theater, Vintage Theater, and The Avenue Theater. Other favorite roles include Viola/Feste/Maria in Twelfth Night, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Luella Bennet in The Diviners, Holly in Nickel & Dimed, and The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. With a B.A. in Theatre and English Writing from Metropolitan State University of Denver, she has been lucky enough to work full time in her chosen field as a touring actor for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Imagination Makers Theatre Company, and Kaiser Permanente Educational Theatre Program. Special thanks to Susan and Rebecca for this incredible opportunity, to her friends and family for their love and guidance, and to you for supporting live local theatre.
Madison grew up in a small town called Searcy, Arkansas. She attended Arkansas State University where she majored in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting. Her most recent work includes A Midsummer Nights Dream as Helena, and Barbara in Nickel and Dimed as well as the musicals I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Cinderella and Thoroughly Modern Millie. This is her first production in Denver for the And ToTo too Theatre Company and she is thrilled to be a part of such a great show. She would like to thank all of her loved ones for their love and support!
Sean Verdu will be making his Denver premier with And Toto too Theatre in The Greater Good. He is stoked to be working on such a fantastic new piece. Sean recently relocated from Colorado Springs to be with his beautiful fiancé (he's getting married next July).
