Maria was born in Mexico City where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Theatre, specializing in Stage Direction. She has participated as Actor, Director, Stage Manager, and Producer of over 40 plays both in Mexico and in the United States. She is very excited of being part of "Appliance" as Stage Manager as she just lost two relatives to cancer in the past three years.
Karalyn Star Pytel
Lighting Designer
Star is the Resident Lighting Designer for the Denver Victorian Playhouse. Star also works as the Resident Lighting Designer for Miners Alley Playhouse, The Playwright Theatre and Arapahoe Community College where she also teaches Lighting Design. Star recently was nominated for “Best Actress” by the Denver Post for her role of Deborah in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden.

Lannie Garrett
Lannie Garrett’s natural ability to connect with her audience, her comedic instincts and her undeniable stage presence make her in demand as a singer and entertainer in nightclubs, concert halls and corporate events all over the nation. Knock-out performances have earned her a large and loyal following.
Lannie has headlined at prestigious Boettcher Concert Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheater with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She's worked with a diverse group of national entertainers from Bill Cosby & B.B. King to Roseanne and Jay Leno. Lannie and her swinging big band even earned a standing ovation opening a show for her idol, the legend, Mr. Ray Charles.
Currently, Lannie is working on opening her own nightclub/cabaret in downtown Denver in January 2006.

Wendy Woo
Wendy's musical experience includes studying classical guitar and music theory in college; working at Boulder’s most famous music venue, the Fox Theater; organizing the Women from Mars (an on-going music festival); and serving as a producer for multiple projects including CDs for herself and Sally Taylor, daughter of Carly Simon and James Taylor.
Woo has released six CDs, displaying a wide variety of styles. Angels in the Crowd (1997) is a collection of mellow jazz and folk-inspired ballads. Wide Awake and Dreaming (1999) is a full band production with funk and jazz rhythms. Ecolalia (2000) features Woo’s songs and acoustic guitar interwoven with her father’s poetry. Gonna Wear Red (2002) is a tightly produced series of rock tunes with touches of funk, blues, and folk. Walking the Skyline (2004) has songs in three genres: intimate solo acoustic; expansive upbeat pop/folk; and full band funk. Angels Laughing (2005) is a live solo acoustic album.
