After 14 years of marriage, Britt and Joe called it quits, so Joe is surprised when three years later, Britt asks him to try again. Cheater Joe still loves his ex and their boys, so he’s willing to go along with dates nights and counseling—until he realizes that Britt has a very specific agenda.
Susan Lyles, is an award winning director with an BA from Wichita State University, and received certification from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Shakespeare. She has worked on stage in London, Chicago and Denver and has also worked in film, commercials, print, industrials, and voice over. Susan is the founder and Producing Artistic Director of And Toto too Theatre Company, and has directed more than 20 plays, including the award winning Naked in Encino, Car Talk, and Heads. She has designed costumes for more than 50 plays, including Lion in Winter (Denver Victorian Playhouse), 12th Night (Denver Victorian Playhouse), and Greater Tuna and Christmas Tuna (Denver Victorian Playhouse, Town Hall Arts Center). Susan was recently honored with a 2015 True West Award. She also owns the award winning film production company, Ruff, Ruff Dog Productions.
Resident and ensemble playwright at Road Less Traveled Productions, Donna’s work has been seen in 40 states and on five continents. Plays include THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR (Princess Grace semi-finalist), SAFE (winner of the Todd McNerney, Naatak, and Great Gay Play and Musical Contests), BRILLIANT WORKS OF ART (2016 Kilroys List), and ELEVATOR GIRL (2017 O’Neill finalist). Donna is also a New York Times-published crossword puzzle constructor; author of Neko and the Twiggets, a children's book; and founder/co-curator of BUA Takes 10: GLBT Short Stories. She has received an Individual Artist Award from the New York State Council on the Arts to develop HEARTS OF STONE, as well as an Artie Award for Outstanding New Play (SEEDS). For three consecutive years, she was named Buffalo's Best Writer by Artvoice—the only woman to ever receive the designation.
Donna Hoke serves on the Dramatists Guild Council and also as Western New York regional representative. In addition, she is a blogger, and moderator of the 10,000+-member Official Playwrights of Facebook. Recent speaking engagements include Citywrights, Kenyon Playwrights Conference, the Dramatists Guild National Conference, Chicago Dramatists, and a live Dramatists Guild webinar. Her commentary has been seen on #2amt, howlround, The Dramatist, the Official Playwrights of Facebook, the soon-to-be-published Workshopping the New Play, and at donnahoke.com.
Libby Arnold has acted and directed in New York, Los Angeles, Florida, New Mexico and Colorado. Previous And Toto too Credits: Directing: Who Will Sing For Lena, The Play Crawl (2016, 2017); Swan Day; Assistant Directing: The Greater Good; Acting: Naked In Encino, The Play Crawl (2014). Ms. Arnold holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Florida.
michael kennedy (joe)
Michael grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, dreaming of playing centerfield for the New York Yankees. He brings that same passion and enthusiasm to acting, which he discovered at the ripe old age of 42, after moving to Boulder in 2006. Michael made his stage debut a year later at the Boulder Theater with the Rocky Mountain Revels. Other theatrical work includes Revered Parris in The Crucible by the Upstart Crow Theater, a starring role in Turtles and Bulldogs at the Spark Theater, and several productions with Visionbox Studio. Michael also had a long list of film credits, including Casting JonBenet by Australian director Kitty Green. He studies with Chris Thatcher in Boulder, focusing on the Meisner Technique and the Michael Chekhov Technique. He has been a member of Thatcher’s Wednesday Night Class since 2008.
