 Ellen K. Graham is delighted to return to the Play Crawl for her lucky seventh time. Her work has been produced in Chicago, Columbus, NYC, and Denver, where she has worked with And Toto too, Buntport, Catamounts, BETC, square product, the Denver Center, and many other companies. She is the founder of Feral Assembly, co-founder of Shocking Beyond Belief! Films, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America. And Toto too will be presenting a staged reading of her play COME NOW THE HEARTBROKEN this August.

Susan Lyles is the Founder and Producing Artistic Director for And Toto too Theatre Company. She is an award winning director, screenwriter, actor and producer. She has developed, directed and produced new work by women for the last 20 years. Her credits with And Toto too: Gertrude and Ophelia in Hell, Whacking the Turkey, The Play Ground and Feast of the Flying Cow and Other Stories of War. Rebecca Gorman O’Neill is an English Professor at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she teaches playwriting, screenwriting, cinema studies, and the graphic novel. Edith Weiss, third person, loves the play crawl. She loves the actors that work for the love of it. She loves writing short pieces to an environment. Her youth theater plays, children's plays, and comedic murder mysteries have been performed in small theaters, colleges, and schools almost everywhere. Okay not in Antarctica. But (switching to first person) I'm working on that. And I love you the audience for supporting And Toto too.

Linda Berry's varied published credits include poetry, short fiction for children and adults, preschool curriculum, a newspaper entertainment column, craft articles, a stint as editor of a tennis magazine (although she's never been a tennis player), and six cozy mystery novels. NINA MILLER

LEGACY OR MOM VIBES

Nina Alice Miller is a playwright, dramaturg and theatrical community-builder in Denver, Colorado. She is co-founder and co-producer of Denver’s Rough Draught Playwrights: An Open Mic Theatrical Playground; co-founder of the Dirtyfish Theater collective; and has dramaturged for Athena Project Festival, the University of Georgia, and the Mizel Center for Arts and Culture. Her full-length plays are The Living (Athena Project Festival, workshop production), Fisheaters (Vintage New Play Festival staged reading), Agon of the West (And Toto too staged reading and a Creede Headwaters finalist), Whole World and Daughtering (in development). Her short plays include Nano Diving (Red Rocks Community College Western Showcase), Bullies and Friends (Mirror Image Arts, commission), Boomtown IDP (Dirtyfish Theater, full production), Delaware (And Toto too), Nomads of Disaster/Listening to Chernobyl (Millibo Art Theatre, full production) and American Herring (And Toto too, full production; Millibo Art Theatre, full production). Nina is a regular contributor to the Play Crawl (And Toto too Theatre) and a member of the Dramatists Guild. She is a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts and holds a PhD in English from Northwestern University.

Carrie is thrilled to return to the Play Crawl! Her plays have been performed around the country. Fractured Moonlight, produced by And Toto too in 2021, was named a semi-finalist in the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference and the Dayton County Playhouse's FutureFest. Gifted was produced by The Edge Theatre Company, and Race Relations won first place in Writer's Digest Stage Play competition. Christie is a playwright and educator based in Arvada, Colorado. Her play Cabaret Kalisz was recently published by Next Stage Press. Her plays have been produced throughout Colorado. She has worked with a variety of companies including: And Toto Too Theatre Company, BETC,Theater O, Athena Project, 365 Women A Year, Arts in the Open, Vail Valley Theatre Company, and Wordsmyth Theater Company Houston.Christie and her husband are the Executive and Artistic producers of REM Stage Productions and will be producing her new play, Suffer the Heights’, next spring. She holds a BA in Theater Arts from UNC and a MAT in Language Arts from Northeastern University in Chicago

MELISSA LUCERO MCCARL

THE MIDDLE AGED BUSKER

Painted Bread, Melissa’s full length play about the life of Frida Kahlo, was voted "Best New Play" by the Denver Post. She was commissioned by the Jewish Community Center to write Poignant Irritations, about the life of Gertrude Stein ("Best Local Playwright" by Westword), and commissioned by Bonnie Metzgar to write for The War Anthology at Curious Theatre Co. Her one act play, Carlene Yakkin is a recipient of the Steven Dietz award. Her critically acclaimed play Lost Creatures was produced 2016 by And Toto too Theatre Company and was nominated for a Henry award.  Most recently, her play The Heartbeat of the Sun was produced by Cherry Creek Theatre. Melissa was commissioned by the Aurora Fox Theater to write about the first and only female mayor of Aurora, Colorado.  Look for a workshop production of  Onward and Upward: the Norma Walker Story  in the summer of 2026.  Melissa currently teaches playwriting for Lighthouse Writers Workshop and the Denver Center Theatre Company.

LESLIE C. LEWIS

YOU’VE GOT MAIL

Leslie C. Lewis is a writer and producer whose short and full-length plays have been performed across the United States. Her work has been produced and/or developed by Denver Center Theatre Company, Paragon Theatre Company, And Toto too Theatre Company, Millibo Art Theatre, Capital Stage Theatre, and Lakeshore Players Theatre among others. She is a co-founder, co-producer and emcee of Rough Draught Playwrights, a live performance venue presenting Colorado playwrights’ works-in-progress, and was a founding member of Dirtyfish Theater, a playwrights collective creating and producing original work in Denver. Leslie is the author of non-fiction essays and articles for the academic and popular press, receiving awards for subject matter on the environment and contemporary culture. Radio credits include a series of essays addressing contemporary social issues which she wrote and broadcast for Connecticut Public Radio. Leslie is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, and lives in Longmont, Colorado.
